2020 Buick Enclave Gets Sport Touring Treatment, Now Gives Massages
If you’re looking for a stately three-row semi-premium crossover with an edgier look and minimal bling, Buick now has something for you. The 2020 Buick Enclave adds a Sport Touring package that gives it a sportier appearance thanks to body-colored grille surrounds and 20-inch alloy wheels with contrast Satin Graphite inserts. Unfortunately, if you want all of the top-of-the-line features minus the shiny exterior bits, you’re out of luck. The Sport Touring package is only available on the Essence grade, which is just above the base Preferred trim.
Other changes for the 2020 Buick Enclave include General Motors’ new infotainment system. An 8.0-inch touchscreen comes standard on all trims, and onboard navigation is available. Buick has also added an HD rearview camera and surround view monitors depending on the grade. The Premium and Avenir models now come standard with massaging front seats to further differentiate the Enclave from lesser GM three-row crossovers including the GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse.
Arriving in dealerships later this summer, the 2020 Buick Enclave starts at $41,195 for the base trim, making it less expensive than the base 2019 Acura MDX ($45,295). As before, a 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6 paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission is the only powertrain available. Front-wheel drive comes standard and all-wheel drive is optional. EPA fuel economy ratings for the Buick are 18/26 mpg city/highway for front-drive models and 17/25 mpg with all-wheel drive.
