Lame puns aside, when Honda brought the Mean Mower V2 to mow the lawn at last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, the company had said it believed the mower could do “at least” 150 mph. Well, 11 months later and with stunt driver Jessica Hawkins, Honda finally put its money where its mouth is and actually did it.
At some race track you won’t have heard of near Dresden, Germany, Hawkins took the Mean Mower V2 from 0-100 mph in only
6.285 seconds, which is faster than some supercars. Then she took it to a top speed of 150.99 mph on a longer run, and you can bet a representative from Guinness World Records was present to make the whole thing official.
